Te Gjyshi — meaning “At Grandfather’s” — was founded Bby our grandfather as a small restaurant in our family garden.
Inspired by his love for Berat and its culinary heritage, he created a place where people could gather and enjoy traditional Albanian food prepared with care, simplicity, and passion.
Over time, Te Gjyshi became a well-known and loved destination for those seeking authentic local flavors. Years later, the next generation carefully restored the property, adding a small guesthouse while preserving the original spirit of the restaurant.
