TE GJYSHI
HOTEL & RESTAUANT

Our Story
Te Gjyshi means “At Grandfather’s” in Albanian – a name that perfectly captures the heart and soul of our story.
Founded in 1998 by our beloved grandfather, Mr. Rapo Rrokaj, Te Gjyshi began as a small restaurant in our family garden. It was a place where he could share the authentic flavors of Berat with his friends and neighbors, inspired by his deep love for his birthplace and its culinary traditions. Today, Te Gjyshi has grown into a classic dining destination, beloved by locals and visitors alike.
